Vertigo treatment by a licensed physiotherapist
Vertigo is often known as dizziness that creates a false sense that you feel like your surroundings are spinning and it could be simply triggered by just changing the position of your head. The most common cause of vertigo is Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) which is a condition that the otoconia (tiny crystal) dislodges and migrates to a different location of your inner ear. This migration causes abnormal signals to your brain and results in vertigo and nystagmus (involuntary rapid eye movement).
This condition can be diagnosed and effectively treated by a licensed physiotherapist. Our physiotherapist has 5+ years of experience with vestibular rehabilitation and has helped numerous patients back to their normal life within two weeks of intense vestibular rehabilitation program (5 times per week for 2 weeks).
