Acupuncture Newmarket
Calm The Body. Restore Balance.
Our therapists are committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for you. If you’ve had a great experience at Athletify, we want to hear from you!
Acupuncture is a therapeutic technique that involves gently inserting thin needles into specific points on the body, known as meridian channels. At Athletify in Newmarket, acupuncture is performed by our physiotherapists as part of a broader approach to recovery and rehabilitation.
A typical session involves 2–4 needles, though in some cases up to 8 needles may be used.
Once inserted, the needles remain in place while you rest comfortably for about 15 minutes. The process is designed to be calming and restorative, allowing both body and mind to reset.
The goal of acupuncture is not just temporary relief—it’s about stimulating natural processes within your body to improve circulation, regulate muscle activity, and encourage healing.
Acupuncture can support a wide range of clients, from those dealing with chronic pain to athletes looking to improve recovery. At Athletify, we often recommend acupuncture for:

The process is calm, minimally invasive, and intended to leave you feeling restored and rebalanced.
